
- 1 handful of your choice of pasta
- 1 fresh ripe medium tomato (I used Italian tomato for its taste, but if you don't have one just use any and add tiny bit of tomato paste for the flavor)
- 1 handful of green peas (fresh or frozen)
- 1 medium carrot
- 1 garlic clove
- Half a teaspoon of ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of grated mild low salt cheese (e.g. edam, emental, gauda, cheddar)
- 1 small glass of water
Method
Peel and chop the tomato, carrot and garlic, put them in a pot. Add the green peas, pasta, ground cumin, extra virgin olive oil , grated cheese and water. Cook for about half an hour or until every thing is well cooked and there is still some water left in the pot. Pour the cooked food into a mixer or mash it finely.
